STAR WARS/PREDATOR: MASTER'S XOL'S SAGA (PART TWENTY)

THE AFTERMATH OF THE WAR BETWEEN THE EMPIRE AND THE REBELLION TOUCHED EVERY PART OF THE GALAXY AFTER THE EMPEROR'S DEMISE. THOUGH MANY DO NOT KNOW THE CLOSING EVENTS THAT BROUGHT DOWN THE THRONE, THE PEOPLES OF THE GALAXY KNOW THAT IT WAS A LONE FORCE-USER NEITHER JEDI OR SITH THAT DID IT. THOUGH THEY DO NOT KNOW HIS NAME, THEY KNEW HE WAS A WARRIOR FROM A DISTANT WORLD AND THAT HIS SACRIFICE WAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL.

THE LEGACY OF ALL THOSE LIVES HE IMPACTED STILL CARRIES ON.

THE FACTIONS
The Rebel Alliance: Soon after the events at Coruscant the Rebellion and the Jedi Order parted ways. The remaining Rebellion leaders, namely Mon Mothma formed a new ruling council and restored the Senate. This new government calling itself The Galactic Coalition would continue to rebuild what the Galactic Empire had destroyed.

The Empire: Though not entirely lost in the wake of Palpatine's death, the Imperial military forces are scattered throughout the galaxy unable to regroup lest they be discovered by Galactic Coalition patrols. Eighty percent of their main attack fleet was lost at the Battle for Coruscant and even though the Death Star moored there was only one of four, the remaining three are severely undermanned and soon to be abandoned as personnel flee for their lives. Some of the Moffs that were not overthrown have assembled somewhere in secret with plans to once more rule the galaxy.

The Jedi Order: Not wanting to involve themselves in the politics of the galaxy any longer, the Jedi have set about the task of apprehending renegade Sith and re-purposing their temples as their own wherever they can be found. Following Master Xol's ideals of understanding both sides of the Force, the Order archives any and all holocrons they come across regardless of their creators.

The Sith: When their Emperor was killed and Coruscant was taken. They Sith turned on one another, siding with one master or another desperately vying for control of what remained of the Empire. Eventually with the Jedi routing them out, some fled to the expanse of the galaxy, hoping to live out the remainder of their lives free of imprisonment. A select few have gone underground hoping to one day conquer the galaxy just as Darth Sidious did.

Project Rebirth: When the Emperor died, a fail-safe activated in all the cloning vats that he had built. This contingency would make all other clones produced by his facilities have a maximum lifespan of three days before rapidly ageing into dust. The existing Sith and Dark Jedi that still roam the galaxy is unknown and it is a major objective of the Jedi Order to gain that information and apprehend those still free to wreak havoc on this still healing galaxy.

THE INDIVIDUALS

Dex Kamino: Once the Galactic Coalition came to power, Dex was asked on as a General. He refused the position claiming that he had some more important things to do. For several years the clone commando of the Old Republic would explore the galaxy aiding those who needed the most help. Eventually he settled on a distant Coalition held moon along with his crew, hoping to live out the rest of his days in peace.

Wompit: The Mantellian Savrip stayed with Dex, living a life of freedom once thought out of his grasp. He helps Typ with his tinkerings and has become famous for his ability to help with any heavy lifting needed around the colony where they have settled.

Booma:After the Battle at Coruscant, the renegade Gungan returned to Naboo and became Bombad General for a time. Though, some years after that the Boss that he served attempted to ally with a Sith and in response Booma killed them both. Now a wanted man on his own planet, he decided to move to the colony where Dex and the remaining crew ended up.

Typ: Never one to stay in one place for too long, the precocious Jawa had thought about leaving altogether when Dex wanted to stop exploring and settle down. However, on the colony there was a need for a mechanic and the tinkering side of Typ could not resist the temptation.

Luke Skywalker: With the loss of his hand, the Master Jedi required an extensive amount of surgery and healing. During that healing, his sister Leia consoled him and helped him drive out the dark influence that Palpatine had planted inside of him. Eventually, Master Skywalker was allowed to return to the Jedi Council and resumes teaching alongside his sister.

Leia Organa: After the war had come to an end, and her brother's mind was healed, Leia married her notoriously roguish suitor, Han Solo. It was as if something beyond their control brought them together. In the years to follow, they start a family and live on Corellia, where Han was born. With her political skills, the matronly Leia becomes a fitting liaison between the Galactic Coalition and the Jedi Council.

Han Solo: Never too comfortable with his General status, Han left the Rebellion once it became the Coalition. Though he knows his smuggling days are behind him but he still uses his trade skills to discover hidden cells of Sith and Imperial resistance and sells the information for a substantial finder's fee.

Chewbacca: Fulfilling his Wookiee life debt, Chewie stays with his friend Han, even acting as best man at his marriage to Leia. He has become 'Uncle Chewie' since the children's birth and protects them as if they were his own.

Dark Lord Blades: Taken into custody and punished for his war crimes in the name of the Empire, the Dark Jedi aids the Coalition in finding the Sith that he despises throughout the galaxy. For his service he has never been freed but he has been allowed to assist the Jedi Order on the translating of several ancient Jedi holocrons. Due to his age and level of experience, the Order feels that this is the best role for someone like him.

Boba Fett: The infamous bounty hunter never forgot about his assignment to capture Xol and his crew. However, when they escaped over Rakata Prime he reported them dead to Jabba the Hutt producing false trophies as proof. Later he did however seek out Dex Kamino after the war and although their meeting was tense, Boba had no want to kill the commando. Instead, he apologized for the death of Qiin and wanted to make amends. He views Dex as the last of his brethren that was truly free of the Empire and the closest thing he has to family like a long lost cousin. Though he never stopped bounty hunting, he does stay with Dex whenever he is in the system.

Orlo the Hutt: Once the Empire fell, there was a revolt on Ord Mantell that drove the now fugitive, penniless Hutt out. With no support of any other Hutts, the blue worm is left to wander the hyperspace lanes of the galaxy peddling what scrap he can muster from others space junk.

THE SHIPS
The Hunter: With no one to operate the mechu deru systems of the once powerful warship, once Dex was finished using it as a base of operations, he ordered it moored permanently above the planetary colony where he finally decided to settle. It is used for defence and obtaining of supplies. Additionally it is used as a field hospital when necessary.
The Wayfarer: Used primarily as a shuttle when Dex still explored the galaxy it now sits as a part of his residence until he needs it to dock with the Hunter or ferry things to nearby systems on behalf of the colonists. It's interior has been refitted with all its original contents residing in Dex's home.
The Millennium Falcon: While Dex may protest to the fact. Han Solo's ship has become more famous than ever. No pirate dare attempt to board her when Captain Solo is at the helm. The Falcon still holds the record for the Kessel run.

THE CREW

The Hunter's Battle Droids: Those that remained after the final strike against the Empire now live aboard the ship itself. They carry out maintenance and serve as an auxiliary armed force in times of need. Dex nominated ATA-22 to be their commander due to his level of experience. Their distinctive coloured plating has become a symbol for droids everywhere of independence and freedom.

The Pilots (P1, P2 and P3): Despite the fact that this trio are only common piloting models, Dex decided to keep them on personally to fly the Wayfarer to and from the colony. Typ has modified them for a number of different systems making them invaluable members of the colony with their abilities to use and repair any vehicle they have on the surface.
